The company has launched the Citroen eC3 in a total of two variants, Live and Feel on 27 February 2023, This electric car looks similar to its petrol version and the company claims that this car gives a driving range of up to 320 kilometers in a single charge.
Citroën has today launched its new electric hatchback car Citroën eC3 in the Indian market. Adorned with attractive looks and powerful electric motor, the starting price of this car has been fixed at Rs 11.50 lakh. Visually, the car is identical to its petrol (ICE) powered variant, with the top-end variant priced at Rs 12.43 lakh. The company has already started its booking, for which an amount of Rs 25,000 will be parted booking amount by Sagar. Currently, its bookings are going on across 25 cities in the country.
In the Citroen EC3, the company has used a 29.2kWh battery pack, which powers the front axle-mounted electric motor, which generates 57hp of power and 143Nm of peak torque. The company claims that the new electric car EC3 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 kmph in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 107 kmph. In this car, along with the regenerative braking system, two driving modes have also been given, which include Eco and Standard.
What is Driving Range:
The new Citroen eC3 electric car comes with a driving range of 320 kilometers (ARAI) in a single charge. Two charging options have been provided for this car by the business. With the help of DC fast charger, the battery of this car gets charged from 10% to 80% in just 57 minutes. There is also a 3.3kW onboard AC charger, which also supports CCS2 fast charging. With this charger, its battery takes about 10.5 hours to get fully charged.

The battery pack has a 7 year/1,40,000 km guarantee from the business, the electric motor has a 5 year/1,00,000 km warranty, and the electric hatchback has a 3 year/1,25,000 km warranty. Apart from this, extended warranty is also being given on electric motor and battery, for which customers will have to spend additional money.
